Requirements
- Proven machine operator experience in a manufacturing setting, including proficiency with basic shop and hand tools.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team-based environment where priorities change frequently.
- Ability to stand/move for 5-6 hours per day and occasionally lift or carry up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work with a 'roll up your sleeves' attitude to tackle technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Perform build setup, extraction, and operation of metal AM systems (including L-PBF and Binderjet) and EDM equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and identify/troubleshoot machine or manufacturing issues to ensure peak performance.
- Monitor and record material consumption, build completion dates, and functional issues in compliance with Quality Management Systems.
- Work from blueprints to measure parts using specialized tools and software, ensuring all components meet strict quality control gages.
- Follow detailed work orders, test instructions, and specifications with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
