Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on steel components and assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and production drawings
- Operate grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment
- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
- Measure materials and maintain production specifications
- Complete production work efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Assist with fabrication, assembly, and general shop support as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding experience required
- Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints
- Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Flux core or TIG welding experience
- Structural steel or fabrication experience
- Ability to pass a weld test
