Salary: $25.00-$29.00 DOE
Location: Brownsville, OR
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning mechanical/electrical equipment
- Perform minor building plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as needed
- Execute preventive maintenance procedures and assist maintenance lead/manager in outage planning
- Install and set up manufacturing equipment
- Lead project planning for new equipment installation or major repairs
- Operate hand and power tools such as drills, saws, torches, jacks, ladders, cranes, and high lifts
- Maintain clear communication with supervisor and production regarding equipment status and repairs
- Keep proper documentation and records using Microsoft Office/CMMS
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventory
- Work with skilled tradesmen to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs safely
- Familiarity with state licensing requirements in millwright and electrical work
- Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) card or Joureyman Millwright card preferred
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting at a journeyman level in industrial plant maintenance
