Position Title: Nurse Scheduler

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, people-focused professional to coordinate nursing staff schedules and provide light administrative support in our long-term care environment. This role ensures each shift is properly staffed, helps maintain accurate employee records, and occasionally assists with small resident-care tasks that foster a welcoming atmosphere.

Primary Duties

• Schedule Management: Build and update daily, weekly, and monthly rosters for nursing personnel. Adjust staffing plans to cover vacations, call-offs, or other absences while limiting overtime and agency reliance.
• Communication & Records: Share schedule updates promptly, track team availability and credentials, and keep all scheduling documentation current.
• Administrative Assistance: Handle data entry, filing, and routine office communications to support the leadership team.
• Resident Support: Provide minor comfort services such as passing water or straightening beds and promptly alert nurses to any resident needs you observe.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of scheduling or staffing experience in a healthcare or senior-care setting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common scheduling software.
• Professional, compassionate approach when interacting with staff, residents, and families.
