Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of machining production, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
• Lead and manage production teams, including machinists and supervisors, in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment with customer specifications and internal standards.
• Analyze production metrics and implement cost reduction strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with aerospace industry standards and customer requirements.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a Production or Operations Management role within a machining environment.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Proven success in implementing LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with AS9100 or other aerospace quality standards.
• Background in CNC machining and precision manufacturing.
