Warehouse Operations Manager / Distribution Manager (Multi-Site | Travel Required)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations across multiple distribution facilities
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse supervisors, leads, and hourly staff
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards
• Oversee shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, picking, packing, and inventory control
• Maintain accurate inventory management, stock levels, transfers, and replenishment
• Develop and implement warehouse processes, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure on-time and accurate outbound shipments across all locations
• Standardize warehouse workflows, safety practices, and quality standards
• Monitor warehouse equipment usage and coordinate preventive maintenance
• Analyze KPIs, productivity metrics, and operational data; prepare management reports
• Lead safety programs, audits, and training across all warehouse locations
• Travel between facilities to provide leadership, training, and operational support
• Support hiring, performance management, and workforce planning
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environments

Qualifications

Education

• Associate degree preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and warehouse management experience accepted

Experience

• 5+ years of warehouse or distribution experience
• 2+ years of warehouse management or operations leadership experience
• Multi-site warehouse or regional operations experience strongly preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Yard Management Systems (YMS) experience
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency
• Forklift certification or experience preferred
• Knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and supply chain operations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work in warehouse environments

Training & Compliance

• Must complete and maintain training in company systems, safety procedures, and operational standards
• Ongoing training to support safety, efficiency, and compliance
