Position Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, generating leads, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and growing existing accounts while consistently meeting revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Prospecting
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and in-person visits.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to support consistent revenue growth.
- Develop relationships with builders, contractors, business owners, property managers, and other key decision-makers.
- Research target accounts and identify opportunities for market expansion.
Sales & Account Management
- Meet with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Present products and services professionally and effectively.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and pricing recommendations.
- Negotiate contracts, overcome objections, and successfully close sales opportunities.
- Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Follow up consistently throughout the sales cycle and post-sale process to ensure customer satisfaction.
Territory Growth
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Increase market penetration by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.
- Track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within company systems.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and market conditions.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of outside B2B sales experience required.
- Experience in construction, technology, audio/visual, home services, building products, or related industries preferred.
- Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, and develop new business.
- Strong proposal development and quoting experience.
- Excellent negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to close sales and manage customer relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage territory activities effectively.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
