Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend customized packaging solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Track sales activities, leads, and opportunities in CRM systems
- Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in flexible packaging or related industry sales
- Proven track record in new business development
- Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage territory effectively
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Highly organized and results-driven
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $75,000-$85,000
- Commission structure based on annual net growth:
- Less than $400K: Not eligible
- $400K-$2.5M: 0.8%
- $2.5M+: 1.2%
- Uncapped earning potential
