Packager Location: Sweet Home, OregonJob Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM Friday: 5:30 AM – 9:30 AM Overtime available as needed About the Opportunity We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packager to join a busy lumber remanufacturing operation. This position plays an important role in ensuring finished lumber products are packaged securely, accurately, and professionally before shipment. Key Responsibilities Package and wrap finished lumber products with accuracy and attention to detail. Ensure products are prepared for shipment in a safe, clean, and professional manner. Kneel, bend, stoop, crawl, and lift materials throughout the workday while following safe work practices. Work indoors and outdoors as production demands require. Follow all company safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Perform basic counting, measuring, and simple math to verify product quantities and dimensions. Learn production processes quickly and adapt to changing priorities. Maintain quality standards while working in a fast-paced, industrial environment. Collaborate with coworkers to keep production running efficiently. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, crawling, and lifting. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Safety-minded with a commitment to following all workplace safety procedures. Ability to learn new tasks quickly and follow instructions. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Comfortable working in a loud manufacturing environment. Basic math and calculator skills are helpful but not required. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements This position requires continuous movement throughout the day, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping, crawling, and lifting.
