We are seeking a skilled and dependable Painter to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, caulking, and priming
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired results
- Cover and protect furniture, fixtures, and floors during painting projects
- Repair minor drywall, plaster, or wood damage before painting
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with supervisors and clients to ensure project expectations are met
- Assist with estimating materials and time required for jobs (if applicable)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in painting or general construction
- Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and surface preparation methods
- Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial or industrial painting projects
- Familiarity with specialty coatings, textures, or faux finishes
- OSHA safety training or certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
