Painter

Pay Rate: $17-$24.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and deburring parts
- Operate paint guns and apply coatings evenly and accurately
- Perform small touch-ups and finishing work as needed
- Use masking knives and other hand tools safely and effectively
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and defects
- Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and supervisor guidance
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in the work area
- Assist with reading basic drawings and work orders when needed
Support production goals and complete tasks efficiently
Requirements
- 1-2 years of paint shop or industrial painting experience required
- Experience using paint guns required
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to take instruction, listen, and learn quickly•
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Auto painting experience is a plus
- Experience in aerospace painting and MIL-Spec standards is a strong plus
- Ability to read drawings is preferred, but not required
- Comfortable working with hand tools and performing detailed prep work
