Pay: $15.55/hour
Schedule: 4 hours per day, 7 days a week
Assignment: Seasonal through October

Express Employment Professionals is hiring three reliable and hardworking individuals for Park Maintenance roles with a local organization dedicated to keeping our community parks clean, safe, and beautiful. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their community, and brings a positive attitude to the job.

Job Duties:

• General janitorial work in public park areas
• Weed eating, pulling weeds, trimming shrubs and rose bushes
• Cleaning graffiti and maintaining park cleanliness
• Basic use of lawn care and groundskeeping equipment
• Interacting with the public - must be presentable and courteous
• Following instructions and working independently or as part of a team

What We're Looking For:

• Someone with enthusiasm, common sense, and a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working outdoors and using basic lawn care equipment
• Some hands-on experience - even basic things like checking or changing oil is helpful
• Someone who has worked outdoors and is comfortable with physical work
• Must be dependable, trustworthy, and able to follow directions
• Comfortable interacting with the public in a professional way

Requirements:

• Must be available to work 4 hours daily, 7 days a week
• Must own steel toe boots
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Prior landscaping or groundskeeping experience is a plus

Additional Information:

The team starts each day with a morning meeting and stretching routine to prepare for the day's work. This role supports the maintenance of seven parks throughout the community.
