We are currently looking for Plater Technicians for 2nd Shift and Weekend Shift positions for a company in Elk Grove Village, IL

Open Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply appropriate materials to achieve desired finishes for various parts and surfaces.
• Prepare parts for plating (masking, cleaning, fixturing).
• Operate forklifts and other shop equipment safely.
• Interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings.
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) to ensure product quality.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of plating, machining, and quality control processes.
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments.
• Must be able to:
  
  
  • Lift up to 50 lbs multiple times per day
  • Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • Climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as necessary
  • Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
  • Drive forklifts or equipment for short and long durations (training available)
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
