Plumber / Maintenance Technician
Location: Savannah, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $25.00–$31.00 per hour, plus overtime opportunities
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Plumber / Maintenance Technician to join a large commercial and industrial maintenance team supporting a high-profile facility in the Savannah area. This position is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with plumbing experience who enjoys troubleshooting, repair work, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Perform plumbing repairs including unclogging drains, repairing leaks, replacing fixtures, and servicing sinks, toilets, urinals, and water fountains
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures
Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related maintenance issues
Complete preventive and reactive maintenance work orders
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems
Assist with general facility maintenance tasks, including light electrical work, painting, and basic repairs as needed
Maintain housekeeping standards in mechanical rooms and work areas
Respond to plumbing emergencies in a timely manner
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and repair manuals
Safely operate ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other access equipment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED
2–5 years of plumbing experience in commercial, industrial, multi-family, institutional, or similar environments
Experience performing fixture replacements, drain cleaning, leak repairs, and general plumbing maintenance
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred
Experience in commercial facilities, apartment communities, dormitories, manufacturing plants, or industrial facilities
Familiarity with gas, plumbing, and building codes
General maintenance experience beyond plumbing
Work Environment
Work will be performed in commercial and industrial facilities
Regular use of ladders and elevated work platforms
Ability to work at heights when required
Frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, and climbing
Overtime may be available and occasionally required based on business needs
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay: $25.00–$31.00/hour
Overtime paid at 1.5x base rate
