Plumbing Install Lead Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Install Lead to join our team!   The successful candidate should be able to work efficiently, have great attention to detail, have exceptional multi-tasking skills, be organized, and be able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime. This position is eligible for commissions on any upsells with a total annual earning potential of $80,000-$100,000 in your first year. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead residential plumbing and boiler installation projects
• Install water heaters, boilers, water lines, drains, and gas lines
• Ensure installations meet code and company quality standards
• Maintain jobsite safety, organization, and team productivity
• Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring)
• Use various plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.)
• Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
• Complete all tasks per company quality and safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of residential plumbing installation experience
• Previous experience as a lead installer or crew leader
• Experience with re-pipes, drain/sewer systems, water heaters, and residential plumbing installations
• Knowledge of boiler piping, circulator pumps, expansion tanks, and zone valves
• Proficient with PEX, copper, PVC, ABS, and cast iron piping
• Ability to read blueprints and plumbing schematics
• Knowledge of local plumbing and mechanical codes
• Journeyman license preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work cohesively with team members, apprentices, and management
• Strong communication and professionalism with customers and team members

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
