Plumbing Service Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Service Technician with Boiler experience to join our team in Longmont. This dual-role position combines hands-on plumbing expertise with a strong focus on residential boiler systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing both plumbing and heating systems in residential settings, while delivering exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Install and service residential boilers and plumbing systems per code and safety standards.

• Diagnose and repair plumbing and boiler issues, including mechanical and electrical faults.

• Perform routine maintenance to ensure system performance and efficiency.

• Recommend system upgrades or replacements based on evaluations.

• Communicate clearly with customers and provide professional advice.

• Identify and promote additional products or services.

• Ensure compliance with state/local codes and safety regulations.

• Maintain accurate records and manage tools and inventory.

• Stay current on industry trends and technology.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a boiler technician, HVAC technician, or similar role. Experience with residential heating systems required.
• Valid HVAC, Boiler, or related certifications preferred. Colorado state licensing for heating or plumbing (if applicable).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of residential boiler systems, including gas, electric, and oil systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor as required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the ability to work safely in high-pressure environments.
