Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Plumbing Service Technician to join our team of Plumbing experts in Longmont, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, consulting, recommending and repairing residential plumbing systems, some boiler experience is preferred but not mandatory. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of residential water systems, including water quality systems. Of upmost importance is to provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a high-end, professional light. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and servicing of residential water systems including water quality to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning or inefficient plumbing systems, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
- System Evaluation: Conduct system evaluations to determine the most efficient heating solutions for customers and recommend system upgrades or replacements when necessary.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain services, answer questions, and provide professional recommendations.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with state and local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Documentation: Complete accurate service records and reports, including customer interactions, work performed, and parts used.
- Training: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technology, and best practices in residential plumbing systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Plumbing Service Technician or similar role. Experience with residential plumbing systems required.
- Valid Plumbing license or certification preferred. Colorado state licensing for heating or plumbing (if applicable).
- Strong experience in troubleshooting skills and knowledge of residential plumbing systems, including gas, and electric systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor as required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the ability to work safely in confined environments.
