- Heavy Industrial Manufacturing - Production / Material Handler
?? Openings: 1 in DeKalb, IL | 2 in Rochelle, IL
?? Pay: $21.50/hour
?? Shift: Morning/Day Shift
?? Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
?? Overtime: Friday is available for overtime
?? Type: Evaluation Hire / Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
Our client is growing their team and is looking for dependable individuals to join their heavy industrial manufacturing operation. This is a physically demanding position involving industrial parts, quality inspection, equipment operation, and shipping and receiving.
Responsibilities- Inspect parts for quality, defects, and proper specifications
- Grind and deburr industrial parts
- Clean and package finished parts
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift
- Receive incoming parts and inspect materials
- Operate a scale and press
- Use measurement tools to verify part specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and production requirements
Requirements- Previous grinding/deburring experience
- Previous forklift experience
- Ability to use measurement tools
- Ability to operate a scale and press
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand continuously throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- Steel-toe work boots required
