What You'll Be Measured On:
- Productivity and efficiency of machine operations
- Quality of fabricated parts per blueprints and specifications
- Safety compliance and adherence to company procedures
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college/technical training or 3+ years of related experience is a plus)
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, diagrams, and operating instructions
- Basic computer skills and good communication skills
- Team player mentality
- Must meet ITAR/EAR requirements (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or properly licensed foreign persons)
Your Day-to-Day:
- Set up and operate metal fabricating equipment in both manual and automatic modes (Brake press, Hydraulic press, Punch press, Turret press, Spin, Rollers, Shears, Band saw, Belt sander, Expander)
- Monitor machine operations to ensure safety and efficiency; alert supervisor to issues
- Measure, verify, and inspect finished parts to meet all blueprints and specifications
- Follow all AeroGen-TEK quality systems, operating procedures, and safety rules
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and apply 6S principles throughout the department
- Wear required PPE for all tasks and areas
- Pitch in on other tasks as needed to keep the team running smoothly
Physical Demands:
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling/crouching: up to 100% of the time
- Work on the manufacturing floor with some noise and confined spaces
- Minimal sitting or office work
