What You'll Be Doing
- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines to form sheet metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, bend lines, tolerances, and forming specifications
- Select, install, and align punches, dies, and press brake tooling
- Program or input bend sequences, angles, and back gauge settings
- Inspect finished parts to ensure angle accuracy, dimensions, and repeatability to print
To Be Considered, You Must Meet the Following:
- Must have direct press brake machine operation experience - general machine operation or fabrication experience alone does NOT qualify
- Proven experience setting up press brakes, including tooling selection and machine adjustments
- Ability to read blueprints and understand bend deductions and material thickness
- Experience working with steel, stainless, or aluminum sheet metal
- Comfortable making adjustments to achieve consistent, accurate bends
This Role is NOT for You If:
- You have never personally set up or run a press brake machine
- Your experience is limited to general fabrication, assembly, or machine tending
- You rely entirely on others to program, set up, or troubleshoot brake operations
