Responsibilities:
- Operate press brake machine.
- Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
- Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
- Checks height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments.
- Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake.
- Work with tight tolerances.
- Produce parts for assembly operations.
- Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
- Perform spot inspections of parts.
- Complete and maintain paperwork.
- Identify assembly parts.
What we look for:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 Years Experience as a Press Brake Operator
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift 25lbs consistently, and 50lbs as needed.
Duties:
- Lays out or details layout on work stock from blueprints or templates.
- Plans the sequence of operations, applying knowledge of the physical properties of metal.
- Working well with others, with a limited amount of supervision.
- Setting up and operating several types of hydraulic press brakes.
- Setting up and operating notches, rolls, and hardware machines.
