Job Details:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Planner/Scheduler to join a growing team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth production operations and timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to align production timelines and resource availability.
- Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and capacity constraints to ensure timely execution of production plans.
- Utilize ERP systems and scheduling tools to track progress and adjust plans as needed.
Workflow Coordination
- Optimize the flow of work and materials through the production cycle to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions between machining, coating, painting, and assembly operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance throughput and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and internal quality protocols.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks and production issues through data analysis and direct observation.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to resolve delays, quality concerns, and resource constraints.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action planning in collaboration with engineering and quality departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, or workflow coordination in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials flow, and production cycles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
