Position Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Expansion Production III Operator to join their production team. This role is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, maintaining production quality standards, and ensuring efficient workflow from raw materials to finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate equipment used to manufacture products from raw materials into finished goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials and in-process materials
- Perform in-process inspections and tests to ensure product specifications are met
- Monitor production processes and identify product deficiencies or equipment malfunctions
- Troubleshoot production issues to maintain optimal production levels
- Follow blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics
- Keep detailed records of orders received, work completed, and inventory levels
Additional Duties
- Conduct quality checks, including hardness, weight, variation, pH, and moisture content
- Coordinate with materials planning, production, and maintenance teams
- Match workload, staffing, and equipment capacity with inventory and production needs
- Prepare and monitor production schedules
- Requisition materials based on production requirements and delivery timelines
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant manufacturing or machine operation experience REQUIRED
- Vocational training or equivalent hands-on experience in a related field
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Someone who takes initiative and is willing to cross-train to support in other areas needed
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work a compressed overnight shift schedule
