Job Title: Hairline Finishing Operator | Belvidere | Monday-Friday | OT Saturday

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $19.50

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Saturday Overtime

We are seeking a detail-oriented Hairline Finishing Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying a consistent brushed (hairline) ensuring all products meet high-quality visual and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sanding and polishing equipment to create hairline finishes on metal surfaces
• Maintain consistent grain direction and surface appearance
• Load, position, and unload materials safely
• Inspect finished products for defects such as scratches, uneven finishes, or dents
• Adjust machine settings and replace abrasive materials as needed
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production specifications
• Track production output and report any issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting
• Physical role requiring lifting, standing, and walking
