Position Overview
As a Production Worker, you'll help ensure food quality, accurate packaging, and timely production. You'll be responsible for documentation, quality checks, sanitation, and communication with your team. This position is vital to the efficiency and safety of our production line.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure food safety and quality standards are met
- Accurately measure and prepare food ingredients
- Work efficiently on a fast-paced production line
- Read labels, recipes, and work orders in English
- Identify and report food safety issues
- Perform routine documentation and quality checks
- Operate safely and follow GMPs and SOPs
- Wear required PPE: hair net, beard net, gloves, lab coat, slip-resistant shoes
- Sanitize production line equipment and surrounding areas
- Rotate through various line positions as needed
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Willing to work any shift and overtime as needed
- Knowledge of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and quick pace
- Awareness of and compliance with all food safety procedures
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk up to 13 hours per shift
- Regularly lift and carry 25-50 lbs
- Push/pull more than 1,000 lbs using a pallet jack
- Frequent bending, twisting, grasping, squeezing
- Occasional kneeling, reaching overhead, climbing stairs with 25-50 lbs
