Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Everett's professional division is hiring an experienced Production Manager for a leading manufacturing operation located in the Everett, WA area. Salary is $100,000-$130,000 annually. This is a direct professional placement that will be working on a fulltime day shift schedule working Monday - Friday.
The Production Manager will provide hands-on leadership for daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency. This role requires strong floor presence, real-time problem solving, and direct coaching of production supervisors to drive performance and accountability.
Qualified candidates will have solid experience in people management skills in addition to production environments.

The Production Manager will provide hands-on leadership for daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, labor, downtime, and schedule goals
- Maintain a visible presence on the production floor to monitor workflow, staffing, and equipment performance
- Provide direct, in-person leadership, coaching, and accountability to production supervisors
- Address operational issues promptly and ensure supervisors effectively manage their teams
- Oversee staffing, changeovers, production flow, and key performance indicators
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of production personnel
- Reinforce safe work practices and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to resolve process issues and drive corrective actions
- Plan labor and workflow to meet customer demand and support efficient operations
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput, reduce scrap, and improve consistency
