Project Manager – Construction / Industrial Projects
Location: Texas (Houston Area) | Remote Flexibility Available
Salary: $85,000 + 15% Bonus
About the Role
A global industrial organization specializing in vertical access and elevator solutions is seeking a Project Manager to oversee industrial installation and refurbishment projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end project execution across industries such as oil & gas, infrastructure, chemical, cement, and power.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple industrial or construction-related projects simultaneously
- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and deliverables
- Track project budgets and financial performance
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
- Oversee project documentation including plans, reports, contracts, and schedules
- Interpret technical drawings, plans, and project specifications
Required Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of project management experience in industrial, construction, or technical environments
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and financial tracking
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to manage technical project documentation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or plans
- Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial construction or equipment installation projects
- Experience working with general contractors (GCs)
- Experience managing subcontractors and vendors
- Experience with contract management and customer-facing project delivery
- Experience with risk management and mitigation planning
- Familiarity with engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments
- Experience with AutoCAD or 3D modeling tools
- PMP or similar project management certification
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience
- Technical or engineering-related degree preferred
