Property Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair residential or commercial properties. This role involves hands-on work in general repairs, upkeep, and preventative maintenance. Ideal candidates are problem-solvers with a strong work ethic and a versatile skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and flooring
- Respond to work orders and emergency repair requests in a timely manner
- Inspect properties regularly to identify safety hazards or repair needs
- Maintain and repair appliances, fixtures, and building systems
- Assist with landscaping, groundskeeping, and exterior property upkeep as needed
- Document completed work and update maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
- Collaborate with property managers and tenants to resolve maintenance issues
Qualifications
- 1+ year of property maintenance or general repair experience preferred
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or training in property maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in residential/commercial maintenance
