We are hiring a Property Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance operations across residential and/or commercial properties. Key Responsibilities:
- Complete general maintenance and repair work including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks
- Respond to service requests and troubleshoot issues in occupied and vacant units
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce equipment and system downtime
- Prepare units for new tenants including repairs, touch-ups, and basic installations
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance needs as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of property maintenance experience
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel between job sites
- Own basic hand tools required for maintenance work
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HVAC systems or EPA certification
- Prior experience in apartment or multi-unit property maintenance
- Ability to handle minor appliance repairs
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders
- Exposure to maintenance-related noise, dust, and standard equipment use
- Must be comfortable working independently across multiple job sites
