A local Albany-based property maintenance company is seeking a skilled Building/Property Maintenance Associate to support the upkeep, repair, and occasional remodel of both residential and commercial properties. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a broad skill set in general maintenance and light construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on interior and exterior building features
- Drywall patching, painting, basic carpentry, and surface restoration
- Light plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Flooring and tile repair or installation as needed
- Service and inspect appliances, HVAC units, and basic mechanical systems
- Work independently or with a team based on project size and scope
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property or building maintenance
- Knowledge of hand and power tools, and construction materials
- Experience in carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical work preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across a variety of trades
- Driving record compliant with company insurance policy
- Strong attention to safety and detail
