We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Auditor to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for inspecting parts and materials to ensure they meet required quality and dimensional specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and incoming materials.
- Use micrometers and calipers to accurately measure parts and verify dimensions.
- Compare measurements against specifications, tolerances, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Identify, document, and report defective or non-conforming materials.
- Complete inspection reports and accurately record quality data.
- Inspect parts for defects, damage, cleanliness, workmanship, and other quality concerns.
- Follow established quality and safety procedures.
- Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience using micrometers and calipers strongly preferred.
- Previous quality inspection, manufacturing, machining, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately read measurements and understand dimensional tolerances.
- Blueprint or technical drawing experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.
