Quality Inspector - $24| Full-Time | North Denver, CO
Experienced in precision measurement, blueprint reading, and quality control? If you've worked as a Quality Inspector, QC Technician, Machinist with strong inspection skills, or in any role involving dimensional inspection and GD&T, this is a great opportunity to join a reputable North Denver machining and fabrication team. This role offers steady work, strong long‑term stability, and the chance to support high‑quality production in a growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform first article, in‑process, and final inspections on machined and fabricated parts • Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, bore gauges, thread gauges, and optical comparators • Verify dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, and GD&T requirements • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models • Document inspection results, maintain FAI reports, and generate NCRs when needed • Support corrective and preventive actions and help identify recurring defects • Collaborate with machinists, welders, and production staff to resolve quality issues • Maintain calibration records and ensure inspection tools are properly maintained • Follow all safety procedures and keep inspection areas organized
What We're Looking For
• Minimum 3 years of experience in metalworking quality control or similar • Strong understanding of precision measurement tools and GD&T • Ability to read blueprints and verify part specifications • Accurate documentation skills and familiarity with basic computer programs (Email, Excel, Word, Google Docs) • Strong attention to detail and a quality‑focused mindset • Clear communication skills and the ability to train others when needed • Positive, team‑oriented attitude
