Express Employment Professionals in Ithaca NY is hiring for a client organization a 2nd shift Quality Inspector located in Ithaca, NY. The Quality Inspector is responsible for taking direction from the Quality Assurance Manager concerning the implementation and effectiveness of the Quality Management System, while performing quality inspection of incoming and outgoing products. The Quality Inspector will assist visual and dimensional checks using blueprints and specifications.

This is a 2nd shift role of 3:00 pm - 11:00 Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, CMM's and others
- Perform visual and physical checks on products looking for defects and matching to blueprints
- Identify, set aside and document all suspect or defective products
- Document findings, report to supervisor using related software
- Return products for repair; confirm repairs and product quality
- Maintain clean, organized work area
