Job Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery to manufacture reinforcing cable and rebar products according to specifications.
- Load steel wire, cable, and raw materials into production equipment.
- Set up and adjust machines to ensure proper alignment and efficient operation.
- Cut, measure, bend, and assemble cable and rebar products to customer requirements.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules.
- Perform quality inspections using tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Bundle, label, tag, and prepare finished products for shipping.
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work with team members to meet daily production and quality goals.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and production documents.
- Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
