This position begins each day at the Urbana location before heading out on a local service route in a company-provided truck. Key Responsibilities
- Complete residential service calls along a daily local route
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wastewater aeration systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and service equipment
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Maintain accurate service information and keep the company truck organized
- Assist with heavy equipment operation and additional projects as needed
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and general understanding of how equipment works
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to complete a daily driving route
- Dependable, self-directed, and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to learn a specialized service trade
- Heavy equipment experience is helpful but not required
