Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Hybrid (Grafton, MA)

About the Role
JCSI is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help convert warm leads into scheduled conversations for our Business Development team. This is not a high-volume cold-calling role—instead, you’ll focus primarily on engaging marketing-generated and partner-sourced leads through email, with some phone and text outreach. You’ll play a key role in advancing prospects through the pipeline by managing follow-ups, confirming meetings, and re-engaging leads that may have gone quiet.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is organized, communicative, and interested in building experience in B2B sales without the pressure of full-cycle closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage warm leads via email, phone, and text to schedule introductory calls with Business Development Managers (BDMs)
- Coordinate and confirm meetings between prospects and the sales team
- Follow up on missed or rescheduled calls to keep conversations moving
- Re-engage older or inactive leads (“lead recycling”)
- Assist BDMs with scheduling additional meetings throughout the sales process
- Maintain accurate tracking of all outreach and activity in CRM systems
- Ensure timely and professional communication with all prospects
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience in sales, sales development, lead generation, or a recruiting role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (email-heavy role)
- Highly organized with strong follow-up habits
- Comfortable managing multiple conversations and keeping track of details
- Self-motivated and dependable in a flexible work environment
- Experience with CRM tools is a plus, but not required
