The Sales Representative will play a key role in driving growth by developing customer relationships, generating new business, and representing the company in the manufacturing marketplace.
Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following; other duties may be assigned:
- Call on customers to solicit orders and generate new accounts.
- Develop and recommend pricing strategies to remain competitive and profitable.
- Monitor competitive activity and assess its impact on company goals and objectives.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Prepare accurate sales quotations, projection reports, and maintain prospect lists.
- Provide ongoing customer support, resolving inquiries and maintaining strong client relationships.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Visual Manufacturing ERP System or similar ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of machining processes and equipment, including Lathes, Mills, and ID/OD Grinding.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Prior experience in B2B sales within the manufacturing or machining industry is highly preferred.
