This position will be responsible for overseeing program administration, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, supporting tenants, building strong landlord relationships, and providing training and communication to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of Section 8 programs, including applications and recertifications
- Maintain accurate program records and ensure fair processing for participants
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations
- Prepare and submit program reports and assist with audits as needed
- Serve as a resource for tenants, answering questions and resolving concerns
- Provide guidance to participants on program rules and available resources
- Build positive relationships with landlords to expand housing opportunities
- Assist with resolving issues between landlords and tenants professionally
- Deliver program updates and training to tenants, landlords, and staff
- Stay current on housing policies and communicate changes effectively
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as public administration, social services, or housing management preferred
- Solid understanding of federal, state, and local housing regulations, including Section 8 program requirements
- Prior experience working with housing assistance programs or case management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Proficiency with software tools and databases used for housing or program administration
- Commitment to confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license required
- Willingness to obtain Public Housing Manager certification within the first year of employment
