Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120S, 1041)
- Provide tax planning and advisory support to clients
- Ensure compliance with the Internal Revenue Service and current tax regulations
- Review financials and identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiency
- Communicate directly with clients to understand financial situations and provide guidance
- Support audit readiness, amendments, and tax notices
- Assist in improving internal workflows and client service processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-8+ years of tax accounting or public accounting experience
- Strong experience with business returns (1065, 1120S) required
- Experience reviewing returns or mentoring others is a plus
- CPA or CPA-track preferred (not required)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and tax software
- Strong communication and client-facing ability
