Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and condition
- Prepare, package, label, and load outgoing shipments
- Complete shipping and receiving paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift and other material-handling equipment
- Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse
- Safely lift and move materials weighing 50+ lbs on a regular basis
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with inventory and material organization as needed
- May be required to assist in the production department based on workload and business needs
- Perform other general warehouse and production duties as assigned
Requirements
- Recent experience working in a shipping and receiving position is required
- Recent work experience regularly lifting 50+ lbs is required
- Minimum of 6 months of recent forklift experience required
- Ability to safely and repeatedly lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to work in both warehouse and production environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
Physical Requirements
- Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing 50+ lbs
- Standing and walking for the majority of the shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment
