Shipping Specialist - Aurora, IL

We are seeking an experienced Shipping Specialist to join our team in Aurora, IL. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. You'll play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely shipments and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and drivers.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday-Friday
• 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
• $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily shipping tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Assist with picking and packing orders as needed
• Coordinate with carriers and schedule package pickups
• Serve as the main point of contact for drivers arriving for pickups
• Generate and prepare shipping documents for outgoing packages
• Utilize FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip (experience preferred)
• Maintain organized shipping areas and follow company procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and communication

Qualifications

• Previous shipping experience required
• Strong computer skills (shipping software, data entry, documentation)
• Experience with FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip Software is a plus
• Ability to lift, move, and handle packages as needed
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
