Skilled General Laborer

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a growing company in Mendota, IL, in search of skilled general laborer to join the growing team! Candidates must be comfortable using a Sawzall, maintaining manufacturing housekeeping standards, and taking direction from the lead operator of the machine. This position is starting ASAP and is offering weekly pay and benefits!

Pay:

• $19.50/HR

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday (E/O Saturday) - 7:00am to 6:00pm. No Sundays.

Job Duties:

• Operate and safely use a Sawzall to cut, trim, and remove excess material as needed during production
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing work area in accordance with company housekeeping standards
• Follow instructions and production priorities communicated by the lead machine operator
• Assist with machine setup, material handling, and part movement throughout the production process
• Inspect materials and finished parts for quality and report issues to the lead operator
• Remove scrap, debris, and unused materials from the work area to support efficient operations
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Support team production goals by working efficiently and cooperating with other operators and staff
• Perform general labor and shop support duties as assigned by supervisors or lead personnel
