Skilled Machine Operator (DST)

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a growing company in the Lacon IL area in search of skilled machine operator to join the growing team! Day Shift! Friday-Sunday off! Weekly Pay!

Pay:

$18.50/HR

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday! 5:00am to 3:00pm

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate downstream (DST) machinery used in pipe production and finishing
• Coil, cut, band, and package finished pipe products according to specifications
• Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain proper sizing, shape, and production flow

Production & Teamwork:

• Work closely with a team of 4 downstream technicians per line
• Coordinate with upstream operators to ensure continuous production
• Support production goals and maintain efficiency, especially during peak season

Material Handling & Equipment:

• Safely lift and handle materials up to 75 lbs
• Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products
• Stack, organize, and prepare inventory for shipment

Quality Control:

• Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies
• Ensure all materials meet company and customer quality standards
• Report equipment or production issues promptly

Safety & Work Environment:

• Follow all safety policies and procedures in a manufacturing setting
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Work in a smaller facility environment (approximately 20-25 employees)

Schedule & Work Expectations:

• Work 10-hour shifts, typically Monday-Thursday (5:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Overtime opportunities available
