Position: Sr. Accountant - CPA

Location: Denver, CO

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 | $40/HR - $50/HR

Schedule: Monday-Friday - Hybrid Schedule

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute monthly and year-end close processes with accuracy and efficiency
• Reconcile e-commerce platform activity, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and integration with ERP system
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure proper financial data flow and documentation
• Review and approve vendor invoices and assist with AR reconciliation
• Monitor and help resolve discrepancies in inventory, order postings, and online transactions
• Work closely with third-party administrators to oversee sales tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to increase accuracy and reduce manual effort

Qualifications:

• CPA required
• 1-2 years' public auditing experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing and/or e-commerce
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, general ledger accounting, and month-end close processes
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, x-lookup, etc.); experience with automation is a plus
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify) and third-party portals a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Self-starter who is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment
