As a Slider Assembler, you will play a crucial role in constructing steel slide frames, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. If you are detail-oriented, thrive in a collaborative environment, and have experience in manufacturing or assembly, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Machinery Operation: Utilize machinery to assemble steel slide frames efficiently and accurately.
- Cleaning and Painting: Prepare steel components by cleaning and painting them to ensure a polished and finished appearance.
- Parts Gathering: Collect all necessary parts required for assembly and organize them for seamless handoff to relevant departments.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely within a 3 or 4 person team to execute assembly tasks effectively and meet production goals.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of quality control throughout the assembly process to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Kitting and Jig Assembly: Organize and arrange parts in kits and lay them out in a 'Jig' to facilitate smooth assembly by team members.
- Painting and Packaging: Apply paint using an airless sprayer to the completed products and package them appropriately for shipping.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly of similar items is required.
- Track record of longevity at previous jobs and/or farming experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly throughout shift.
- Ability to thrive in a repetitive assembly environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to gather and arrange parts efficiently.
- Comfortable with machinery operation and basic maintenance tasks.
- Collaborative team player who communicates effectively.
- Experience with painting using an airless sprayer is a plus.
- Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
