About the Role:
We are hiring a highly skilled welder for a fabrication-focused role. This position is ideal for an experienced welder who is confident reading blueprints, passing weld tests, and working across multiple materials in a production environment.
This is not entry-level welding. A 3G weld test is required.
What You'll Do:
- Fit and weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals
- Perform MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, and/or Stick welding as required
- Pass a 3G weld test
- Fabricate parts to blueprint and print specifications
- Measure, mark, and verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
- Inspect finished welds and assemblies to ensure quality and conformance
- Adjust equipment and processes to correct non-conforming conditions
- Work collaboratively in a fabrication and manufacturing environment
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a 3G weld test (Required)
- 3+ years of TIG welding experience (Required)
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Strong understanding of welding symbols, tolerances, and measurements
Preferred Experience:
- 3+ years MIG welding
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- General fabrication or structural welding background
- Welding certifications
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing and fabrication shop setting
- Exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and metal materials
- PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Hands-on fabrication and manual material handling
