Position Summary:
We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Summer Custodial Workers. In this role, team members play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our parks and facilities. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to engage with the public in a friendly and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of park restrooms and facilities
• Prepare park shelters, buildings, and spaces for rentals and user groups
• Maintain cleanliness of park grounds, including litter removal and general upkeep
• Operate and drive a 1-ton custodial truck to travel between park locations
• Interact regularly with park visitors, providing assistance and information as needed
• Monitor park conditions and report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or damages
• Serve as “eyes and ears” in the parks to support overall maintenance and operations

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with driving record compliant with company insurance policy
• Ability to safely operate a 1-ton truck
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Seasonal summer position with varying shifts, including weekends

Work Environment:

• Primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Frequent interaction with the public
• Travel between multiple park locations required
