Production Team Lead - Manufacturing Facility

Location: Williamsport, IN
Pay: $18.00/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Job Summary:
Looking to ignite your leadership skills? We're seeking a hands-on Production Team Lead for a busy manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in overseeing assembly and testing operations, ensuring customer orders meet all quality and production standards. If you're a strong communicator with mechanical know-how and a passion for leading teams, this is your chance to lead the charge!

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and assign daily work orders to team members.
• Oversee assembly, testing, and shipping of products to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Stage materials and finished goods for production and warehouse transfer.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in coordination with administrative support.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members to encourage continuous improvement and top-quality results.
• Ensure adherence to all safety policies, implementing proper PPE use and enforcing safety procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions to management and assist in performance management when necessary.
• Support ISO procedures and maintain compliance with company standards.

Skills and Attributes:

• Proven leadership and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain).
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and perform hands-on work as needed.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and motivated to learn new skills.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with assembly operations preferred.
