Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and support a team of custodial staff
- Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to standard
- Perform routine and deep cleaning duties alongside the team as needed
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
- Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of custodial equipment and chemicals
- Follow and enforce safety procedures, including proper handling of cleaning products
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to management
- Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and coverage as required

- Communicate clearly with staff and supervisors
- Respond promptly and professionally to requests or concerns
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, accountability, and reliability
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and coach a team
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safety standards
- Dependable, solution-oriented, and adaptable
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
