Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local steel fabrication company in Canby to hire experienced MIG and TIG Welders. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders looking for steady work in a fabrication-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on steel components and assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and basic fabrication drawings
• Prepare materials for welding, including measuring, cutting, grinding, and fit-up
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, strength, and accuracy
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with shop and production teams to meet project deadlines

Qualifications:

• Prior MIG and/or TIG welding experience (manufacturing or fabrication preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and understand weld symbols
• Experience welding carbon steel; structural or shop welding experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
